Speakers Bureau Volunteer
Volunteers are trained to communicate WDOMI’s mission and become advocates for the agency, attend speaking engagements, fundraising events and community fairs. Please email –Maria Samuels at marias@wdom.org to inquire about training and sign up.  

ADA Site Accessor
Volunteers will be trained to assist the ADA Committee and staff in assessing Westchester Communities for ADA compliance.

Special Events Volunteer
Assist in outreach efforts for awareness of upcoming WDOM fundraising and community events, such as ShopRite Point of Sale (date determined annually). Spirit of Independence Awards Ceremony (October during Disability Awareness Month), Best Pizza in Yonkers Contest (annually each spring), WDOM Consumer Annual Meeting (annually in June). Office Assistant Volunteer
On an as needed basis, assists in tasks such as filing, mailings, reception desk support, and other clerical duties. Experience with computers is a plus!  Please email – Joe Loro at joel@wdom.org for more information and sign up.
