Salute! A Wine Tasting Tour of Italy Brings Regions’ Best Vino to Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY (May 18, 2017) – A newcomer to the Wine & Food Festival this year is Salute! A Wine Tasting Tour of Italy. This fabulous event will take place on Tuesday, June 6th from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Westchester Italian Cultural Center in Tuckahoe.  The event is hosted by Joe Armentano, member of the Westchester Italian Cultural Center.  Celebrate the regions of Italy during this walk-around tasting featuring the red and white wines of Tuscany, Veneto, Piedmonte, Trentino-Alto, Adige, Sicily and Sardinia while enjoying fine Italian delicacies provided by DeCicco & Sons.

“Not all of us have the opportunity to travel to Italy this summer, so why not enjoy special vintages from the region here in our own back yard,” said publisher Ralph Martinelli. “Buy your tickets now to join us for this unique and special evening.”

Join author and wine expert Kevin Zraly in the “Gran Selezione Cellar” for tastings of special vintages.  Enjoy a lively cooking demonstration of an Italian specialty.
